The progress Drake and Kennedy have made since the day they were born is absolutely amazing! They are both officially over 7 pounds now! Drake weighs 7#1.2oz and Kennedy weighs 7#5.7oz. It is mind boggling to me that babies are actually born this big and even bigger. They have made a couple large strides today moving from newborn diapers into size 1 and also using Dr. Brown level one bottles.
We had already become supporters of the Rock and Play Sleeper and now we are huge fans of Dr. Brown bottles, too. They instantly made a difference with Kennedy and her feeds. Drake just began using his this evening and it was successful as well. Gran was here for bath time today and Drake and Kennedy were happy as could be in their warm tubs. I never thought that I would feel comfortable giving them baths on my own without being hooked up by leads to their monitors. Not only did we take their leads off for their baths, but the nurse left the room and I was still relaxed. This is a huge step for me!
