Another good day for our babies here in the NICU! We are so very thankful for every good day that we are granted. We are praying for many more days like this to come.
Kennedy is doing fantastic on the CPAP! They removed her backup rate today and she is now on what they call straight CPAP. She seems much happier without the extra air provided by the backup. He doctor even talked about her being ready for the cannula soon. Wow! I can't even imagine. We would be able to see her pretty face!
Drake is making progress each day. They were able to lower his rate again today. His doctor talked to me about him getting ready to try the CPAP soon. We're not quite there yet, but we are not that far away either. His blood test this morning showed that he has made some of his own blood. It wasn't much, but it was some which meant he did not require a blood transfusion today. Yea, Drake! Keep up the good work!
