As we write this blog we are in the NICU room with our strong little man on one side and a strong baby girl on the other. Drake continues to fight harder than any baby should ever have to fight...fighting for his life. Despite the situation, it is his strength and God's will that is keeping him with us.
At 10:00am this morning we were told that without kidney function, he would not make it another 24 hours. That is something that plays over and over in my mind...no matter what I do, it will not go away. We are still hoping and constantly praying that a miracle takes place in this room tonight.
We need him and he needs us.
